I'm starting the "Year-End Blow-Out" a couple weeks early this year because I have everything ready to post, and I don't expect to be adding anything else to this collection within the next few weeks. They say you shouldn't open your presents until Christmas, but I'm no advocate for either tradition or pointless waiting.

As the title hints, these are random sketches done this year. For one reason or another, I chose not to post these after drawing them, and they accumulated on my hard drive. The sketch of Fate shows a possible design for his face (consequently, this is the only drawing to date that shows him completely nude). The sketch of Brask and Ket (who is roughly, poorly drawn) demonstrates a novel idea for positioning. The sketch of Lolo and Kirby was drawn in response to a random plea on the Internet for Lolo porn, though I chose to abandon the project.

Keep an eye on my site over the next four days as I will be posting four more entries in the 2010 Year-End Blow-Out (one per day).

Just had a thought, don't Grays usually have very large heads for large brains?
Ket-Ralus
That's generally true. Thanks for reminding me. I'll make a note of that on my Fate refinement list. It's a document on my computer with ideas for changes to Fate's design before I "finalize" it. This may happen sometime in late 2011.

Actually, in this drawing I just made the head kinda small, or put the eyes too close to the top of the head. Of course, there are a lot of Gray designs where the head is more normal shape. I'll play around with it. Ultimately it comes down to what I think looks best, rather than what's more "realistic".
