Several months ago, a friend introduced me to Minecraft. I almost passed it by, but I felt compelled to try it, and I'm glad I did. It captivated me with its elements of exploration, survival, and creation. After playing for a little while, I got tired of looking at the dopey default skin and created Ket. Originally I was going to have him wear full clothing... But I decided to have him wear only underwear, since in the game, armor can be equipped to cover your character, and I thought it would be neat to have an Arthur-style getup. However, it turns out that I rarely end up wearing armor in the game, and it doesn't even display for other people in Multiplayer (last I checked, but maybe it has since been fixed). This is all irrelevant though, since I actually prefer seeing Ket run around in his red boxer briefs. ;}

Two images here. The first is simply a collage of poses from the model. The second is the actual skin file which you can save to your computer and then upload to the Minecraft website to play as Ket yourself! (I am indeed giving you all my permission to do so.)

P.S. My Minecraft username is not Ket Ralus, Kinmotsu7, or any similar form. I don't expect any impersonation to happen, but don't be fooled by a fake! In fact, I won't be playing multiplayer until damage and inventory are both properly implemented. After that, if you want to play with me, contact me. =}

Damn, I love that game. The nethers are fun...

It took quite a bit of work to harvest the obsidian for the portal to the Nether, but it was cool to check out. Now I have myself a nice little series of portals to take me from place to place on the overworld in a jiffy.

I like to build things in the game, so I use inventory mods. I'm currently making a hole to the void... using only TNT... And I've also created an underground waterslide through the island, but I've taken a break. (I made the tradgic descision of digging straight up)

Sounds cool. Maybe you can send me your map and I can check it out. =}

I saw the video to minecraft... LOL that was so hilarious, it looked like someone that was just learning how to animate in 3D but it looks fun

The new video on the official Minecraft site is better representative of the game than the old "mine cart track" video, but it still doesn't present things completely accurate. I recommend you watch one of X's videos instead to see what the game is about.

Did you use a skin editor for this?
Ket-Ralus
I only used Photoshop and the example skin template image provided on the website at the time. I didn't use any specialty application for creating this. I had to upload and test a few times to make sure everything looked how I wanted. It honestly wasn't much work for me.

I created one, but I'm not sure about how I would apply it to the game

Go to the Minecraft site, log in, and upload it here: http://www.minecraft.net/skin/
