Bowser bellowed the usual yell for his servant magikoopa. Kamek's deep devotion to the koopa king is a bit of a mystery, but he follows though on every command, taking care of anything in his master's bidding. This even includes Bowser's unorthodox sexual desires. What once came as a shock to Kamek now is something he addresses without question. As long as Bowser is happy, Kamek is satisfied.
"Yes, my lord!" Kamek chirped, standing at attention.
"I want some company in bed," Bowser stated, slightly grinning, "A playful Hammer Brother sounds good right now. Find a suitable minion to join me."
"I already have someone in mind: A koopa by the name of Joseph. He is one of your top-ranking officers from the 31st Hammer Battalion. I've learned he has a special fondness for you. He's a spry and healthy fellow...and his dick's not a bad size either." Kamek reported nonchalantly.
"Good! Find him immediately and send him into my quarters," Bowser commanded.
"Yes, my lord." Kamek responded, and began to mount his broom.
Bowser then added, "Hurry it up, or you'll be joining me yourself, and I won't go easy on you like I usually do!"

I know that anecdote has little to do with the picture, but it came to mind, so I had to write it. Anyway, this is the finished version of the sketch I started back at the beginning of the year (>>10323). Since I wasn't entirely drawing this for myself, I decided to experiment a bit with the post-sketch process. I've always wanted to do a full "inkless" colorization, so I set out to make it happen. Along the way, I sorta hit a wall. It didn't look good, and I didn't have confidence that I could make it much better. So, naturally, I stopped drawing for a while. I subsisted on commissions that I bought off other artists, and indulged myself in four long seasons of Lost. But during this time, my active mind began to pick up on the way light interacts with objects. I couldn't keep putting off this picture, so last night I dug right in. The result is as you see it now.
