This is the last remaining "major" picture I drew at FurCon. It's a Bulbasaur showing off his paws. I drew it for Dreamous. I can't remember which book it was, but I'm guessing it was his foot book. I wish it would have turned out better. I think I drew him at an odd angle since everything seems off to me.
Also, trying to add subtle detail with pen just doesn't cut it. I'm thinking about going the Gami Cross route and using blue pencil to sketch and standard pencil to shade. However, I'll still run into the problem of trying to control levels on the scan to remove the white noise and still keep the subtle grays of the pencil. Maybe it would do me good to try using fully colored drawing instruments.
Well, thank you! =} I'll keep drawing, even if I get distracted from it, like I have over the last couple months. I'm actually working on finishing a picture right now, so I think it's safe to say I'm getting back in the swing of things.
