These pieces started my old "Scraps" category of drawings, which was created to showcase art of mine that didn't reach its fullest potential. This included uncolored, incomplete, or otherwise flawed pictures that didn't deserve to go in my "Art" category. It was also generally meant to be used for art which I didn't plan to progress any further. Since my current "Unfinished" category fills most of the same niche, I've retroactively assigned this post to that category.

<h3>1. "Ket sketches"</h3>
Several random sketches of Ket drawn throughout the years cleaned up (slightly) and compiled into one big montage. This is all seriously old stuff.

Included here are the very first concept drawings of Ket, which were most likely done in 2003, but possibly earlier. They were drawn one night when I wanted to create my own original turtle character that wasn't just a rip-off of a Koopa Troopa or another popular turtle character. The name "Ket" actually started as an acronym of "Kinmotsu's Erotic Turtle", which is pretty lame.

So what wasn't drawn that night? In order: The sketch in the top right, which is essentially just a nude version of Clarence's rendition, so I take no credit for it; it was mostly intended for reference anyway. The faces in the top left; the colored one having been done in the art.com artPad. Also, the sketch in the bottom right -- Ket laying back on a bean bag chair -- which was drawn by me in Photoshop (2006, I think) before I got lazy and stopped working on it.

<h3>2. "Ket, Self-Fulfilled: original penis type"</h3>
This is a small glimpse into what "<a href="http://ket-ralus.com/journal/2006/09/09/ket-self-fulfilled/">Ket, Self-Fulfilled</a>" looked like before I redrew it from scratch. This zoomed in area was all that was worth keeping. Please ignore the large sections of the legs that I had to blend over in Photoshop because they looked so bad on the actual drawing.
