Yes, this is a really boring practice picture. There might be a lot more like this too, but I also plan to get porn in the mix as well, so don't give up on me just yet! I simply need to practice drawing hands, and the best place to start is with <em>real</em> hands. That means drawing from photographs... Art may have mistakes, but photographs are always faithful. The next time I draw hands, I may do some cartoon or furry hands; maybe even the hands of my own characters. But for now, I'm settling for the basics: garden variety human hands.
