Late last month I visited Clarence T. Hare and was finally given the chance to finish the picture I started drawing four years ago. While I was flipping through the book (titled Clarence's Sketch Book 1), I was amazed to find two other drawings I created years ago, which I had completely forgotten about. Back to the main topic, I went ahead and finished the Slippy & Peppy picture. Clarence graciously provided scans of all three drawings, which I delicately cleaned up to post here.
At this point, it feels almost like a chapter in a book has come to a close, but another one is surely beginning! =}

A picture I started in 2006 that I finally got a chance to finish. Even though I was building off an old base, I think I made the right changes to bring it to an acceptable completion. Also, there's just not enough porn of these two guys out there.
I'm not quite sure what to think of the Slippy/Peppy one. I lie the details on Peppy's fur and Slippy's face, but it doesn't rouse a thing in me. Also, I'm interested now since you usually draw "chunky" ;3 characters. How would you handle drawing Leon from the Starfox series?
I started the Peppy/Slippy picture four years ago, and I picked somewhat strange positioning for the pair. I tried to spice it up a bit with my recent work, but that may have just added to the anatomical akwardness. I'm just happy to finally have it completed. No more unfinished sketchbook drawings.
I usually try to draw characters close to reference. So if I were to draw Leon, I'd make him a lot more slender than these two, who are pretty fat characters to begin with (of course, that's one reason I like them). My main weakness with drawing slimmer characters is that I don't have a great grasp of muscle and skeletal structures, so some parts of characters' bodies look rounder or straighter than they should.
