This practice session was my attempt to draw a character in an outrageous angle. In this case, we're actually looking up at Impmon from below, as if he was standing on a transparent surface. Perhaps I could have picked a more <em>realistic</em> dramatic angle, but this time I just wanted to do something crazy. I had fun drawing this, so I worked on it for almost four hours, rather than the usual two. Of course, it was challenging at first when trying to draw the perspective and foreshortening. Along the way, I messed around with colors and somewhat accidentally came up with an interesting lighting scheme. I suppose I could rationalize it as a bright warm light shining up at him from our point of view. The biggest importance of the yellow is that it's the complementary color of purple... hmm, kinda reminds me of Renamon or Gabumon.
