Frogger's first bipedal/clothed body style began in Frogger: The Great Quest (PS2,2001), and was revisited in Frogger's Adventures: Temple of the Frog (GBA,2001) and Frogger Advance: The Great Quest (GBA,2002). This design has him covered in brown markings, and he has a somewhat awkward appearance.
Frogger's second style began in Frogger's Adventures 2: The Lost Wand (GBA,2002) and Frogger Beyond (GCN/Xbox,2002), in which he has solid green skin with no markings, and most importantly, a cuter face and body. He wears a tan vest, white undershirt, and blue shorts. The cover art of both games feature a slightly different design that doesn't appear to be used in the games themselves or for any sequels.
Frogger's third style began in Frogger's Journey: The Forgotten Relic (GBA,2003) and Frogger's Adventures: The Rescue (Multi,2003). It's very similar to the second style, but with a strong anime influence. The most notable change is that he now has only three digits on each hand (all previous designs gave Frogger four digits on each hand). This third style was reused in Frogger: Ancient Shadow (Multi,2005), Frogger: Helmet Chaos (DS/PSP,2005), and Konami Kids Playground: Frogger Hop, Skip & Jumpin' Fun (PS2/2007).
